Tirsam announced the arrival of the first batch of its TS9 buses at Djen Djen Port. The company explained in a statement on Wednesday that the receipt of this batch comes as an implementation of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s program aimed at importing 10,000 buses to strengthen and support the public transport sector.
This first batch consists of 176 TS9 buses with a capacity of 70 passengers, featuring international specifications and complying with the highest standards of quality, safety, and comfort. They are equipped with modern technical features that keep pace with contemporary public transport requirements, ensuring better service for citizens and more efficient operation.
The company also announced that a second ship, carrying 262 buses of other types, will arrive this evening as part of an integrated program to strengthen the national transport fleet.
Tirsam confirmed that these buses were imported without a profit margin, out of its commitment to providing them at very reasonable prices, contributing to the support of the national economy and the implementation of directives aimed at developing the transport system. The company also announced that further batches will arrive in the coming days as part of a continuous plan to support and modernize the transport fleet across various provinces of the country.
