President Abdelmadjid Tebboune chaired a working meeting today, Monday, dedicated to agricultural mechanization.
During the meeting, President Tebboune decided to establish cooperatives specialized in leasing all types of agricultural equipment to farmers. This initiative aims to expand cultivated land areas and increase the productivity of national agricultural production, following the decisions and recommendations of the recent Council of Ministers.
On the same occasion, the President also decided to create a National Council for Agricultural Mechanization.
The meeting was attended by the Chief of Staff of the Presidency, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, the Minister of Industry, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion, and officials from Algerian companies and institutions involved in the manufacture and production of agricultural equipment.
