Algeria’s participation in this significant event comes as the guest of honor for “SEMICA Chad 2026,” where it will share its expertise, experience, and vision in developing extractive industries. This participation aims to strengthen the African dimension and South-South cooperation, contributing to efforts to make the mining sector a strategic pillar for sustainable economic and social development on the African continent.

Additionally, he and his accompanying delegation will hold a series of bilateral meetings with several ministers and heads of participating Chadian and international companies, particularly those active in the fields of energy, mining, and industry, to discuss cooperation prospects, enhance investment opportunities, and exchange expertise.
Algeria’s presence at the international exhibition is further highlighted through a dedicated pavilion to introduce and promote the activities of the Sonatrach, Sonarem, and Naftal groups, showcasing their expertise and experience in the hydrocarbons and mining sectors.
