A person died following a traffic accident in the province of Algiers. Civil Protection reported that its units intervened at 07:49 AM after a truck struck a pedestrian on the Baba Ali highway heading towards Blida, in the municipality and district of Birtouta.
The accident resulted in the death of a man approximately 78 years old. His body was subsequently transported to the morgue at the local hospital.
