The National Meteorological Office forecast today, Friday, strong winds and thunderstorms in several provinces across the country.
An alert issued by the office stated that rainfall will affect the provinces of Tlemcen, Aïn Témouchent, Sidi Bel Abbès, Oran, Mascara, Saïda, Mostaganem, Relizane, Tiaret, Chlef, Tissemsilt, Aïn Defla, Médéa, Laghouat, Djelfa, M’Sila, Ouled Djellal, Bouira, Biskra, and Batna. According to the same source, the alert remains valid until 18:00.
The National Meteorological Office also warned of strong winds in the provinces of Oran, Mostaganem, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Aïn Témouchent, Tlemcen, Naâma, El Bayadh, and Laghouat, where the alert is valid from 15:00 until dawn tomorrow, Saturday.
