The National Meteorological Office reported strong winds accompanied by blowing sand across several provinces of the country.
An alert issued by the office on Sunday warned of strong winds and sandstorms in the provinces of In Salah, Adrar, Tamanrasset, Bordj Badji Mokhtar, and In Guezzam.
