The Minister of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, Said Saayoud, confirmed that the inauguration of the regional annex of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a significant achievement that will enhance the quality of administrative services, bring the administration closer to citizens, and alleviate the pressure on services in the capital.
In media statements, Saayoud noted that this annex is the third to enter service at the national level, embodying the President’s instructions aimed at simplifying administrative procedures and modernizing public facilities.
The Minister emphasized the importance of inaugurating the Oran municipality headquarters after its renovation, noting that rehabilitation work began two years ago. He stated that the historical character of the administrative landmark was preserved while being adapted to meet modern public service requirements, providing appropriate reception conditions for citizens and suitable workspaces for employees.
Saayoud also praised the commissioning of the tunnel interchange in the Bir El Djir municipality, highlighting its role in improving traffic flow and reducing congestion, especially during peak hours, which contributes to better travel conditions and enhances the safety and comfort of road users.
On Saturday in Oran, the Minister, accompanied by the Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, supervised the inauguration and commissioning of the regional annex for the certification of documents intended for use abroad.
