Weather fluctuations across several regions of the country have led to the closure of several roads, according to the National Gendarmerie’s “Tariki” services.
Traffic has been halted on National Road No. 33, which connects the provinces of Tizi Ouzou and Bouira.
In Tizi Ouzou province, traffic was stopped in the Asoul area of the Ait Boumahdi municipality. Meanwhile, the section in Bouira province was closed in the Ikoukar area of the Bechloul municipality due to snow accumulation.
In Djelfa province, National Road No. 01A, which connects it to Laghouat province, was closed at the Oued El Mit bridge area in the Hassi Bahbah municipality.
Blida province also saw the closure of Provincial Road No. 110, linking it to Tipaza province, at the Ben Hamdani center in the Ben Khelil municipality.
The same services reported the closure of National Road No. 22, connecting the municipalities of Terni and Sebdou, specifically at the village of Tell Terni in Tlemcen province.
In Relizane province, flooding caused the closure of Provincial Road No. 52, which connects to Mostaganem province, at the Douar Salhia area in the Beni Zentis municipality.
