Algérie Poste has clarified the procedures for modifying or changing the name or surname associated with a postal current account. According to a statement from the institution, the relevant departments confirmed that in the event of modifying or changing the name or surname of a current account, customers should visit the nearest post office and fill out the “SAK 04” form, accompanied by the required documents.
The same departments also detailed the required documentation, which primarily includes the “CH4” form. The specific requirements vary by case: for a name change or spelling correction, a copy of a court order is required; in the case of marriage, a copy of the marriage certificate must be provided; and in the case of divorce, a copy of the divorce decree is necessary.
