The National Meteorological Office has issued a warning regarding significant thunderstorms with rainfall amounts exceeding 50 mm locally in several provinces across the country.
A weather alert reported significant thunderstorms affecting the provinces of Mostaganem, Chlef, Mascara, Relizane, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, and Ain Defla.
In another alert, the meteorological office warned of thunderstorms with rainfall amounts reaching 40 mm starting from 10:00 PM until noon on Monday in the provinces of Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdes, Blida, Medea, and Bouira.
The same services also warned of thunderstorms exceeding 50 mm from 2:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Monday in the provinces of Tizi Ouzou, Bejaia, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Setif, Guelma, and Souk Ahras.
