The Territorial Brigade of the National Gendarmerie in Es-Semmar, in coordination with the Research and Investigation Department of the National Gendarmerie in Bir Mourad Rais, dismantled a criminal network specialized in trafficking drugs and psychotropic substances.
According to a statement from the National Gendarmerie, following the activation of intelligence elements and intensified investigations, the identities and locations of the network members were determined, leading to the implementation of a precise security plan.
The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of 14,367 hallucinogenic pills of the “Pregabalin 300 mg” type, mobile phones, and two passenger vehicles used for transporting these substances.
The suspects will be presented before the competent judicial authorities upon completion of the investigation.
