Prime Minister Arrives in Oran

Prime Minister Sifi Gharib arrived in the province of Oran on Tuesday for a working and inspection visit, commissioned by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

According to the Prime Minister’s office, Sifi Gharib will oversee the ceremonies marking the 70th anniversary of the founding of the General Union of Algerian Workers and the 55th anniversary of the nationalization of hydrocarbons, which falls on February 24th of each year.

The Prime Minister is accompanied during this visit by the Minister of State, Minister of Hydrocarbons and Mines, Mohamed Arkab; Minister of Finance, Abdelkrim Bouzred; Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjal; and Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, along with the Secretary General of the General Union of Algerian Workers, Amar Takdjout.

The visit’s program includes overseeing the dual anniversary ceremonies, as well as inspecting projects related to the energy sector as part of monitoring the implementation of development programs and enhancing investment dynamics.

This visit embodies the state’s commitment to continuing the reinforcement of national achievements and honoring the role of the working class in national development, as well as emphasizing national sovereignty and consolidating the path of sustainable development in various economic sectors.
