Prime Minister Saifi Gharib chaired a meeting of the High Council for Import Regulation on Monday, dedicated to presenting the results of goods and services imports for the year 2025 and projections for 2026.
On this occasion, the High Council for Import Regulation reviewed measures aimed at improving the import regulatory framework by better addressing the expectations of economic operators to meet the real needs of the national economy.
In this context, focus was placed on simplifying and digitizing import procedures, as well as joint sectoral coordination to ensure better processing and monitoring of import operations, while maintaining the primary objective of this system: promoting national production and developing investment.
