A framework agreement was signed on Monday at the headquarters of the Judicial Police Directorate between the General Directorate of National Security, represented by the Central Laboratory of Scientific and Technical Police, and the Ministry of Health, represented by the Forensic Medicine Department of the Mustapha University Hospital Center. The agreement aims to strengthen coordination mechanisms and joint action in the field of disaster victim identification and to support training programs for judicial police officers and investigators specializing in criminal research.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of Judicial Police at the General Directorate of National Security, Police General Inspector Mourad Zenati, and the Director General of the Mustapha Hospital Center, Dahia Khaled. Also present were Rachid Belhadj, Head of the Forensic Medicine Department, Rahal Elias, Director General of Health Services and Hospital Reform, along with central officials from the National Security.
This agreement aims to establish a framework for cooperation between the specialized scientific and technical police services of the National Security and the Forensic Medicine Department of the Mustapha University Hospital Center, particularly in the field of disaster victim identification. Additionally, it seeks to support training and scientific research programs for judicial police officers and investigators specializing in the search for scientific evidence and physical clues during criminal investigations.
