The Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received on Monday morning by Tunisian President Kais Saied.
During the meeting, Minister Ahmed Attaf conveyed the greetings of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to the Tunisian President, expressing his aspiration to continue joint work to achieve further gains in strengthening Algerian-Tunisian relations, in line with the integrated vision they share for the present and future of the partnership between the two brotherly countries.
The meeting allowed for a review of various axes of bilateral cooperation in light of the important outcomes and qualitative results of the 23rd session of the Algerian-Tunisian High Committee, emphasizing the need to translate these outcomes into practical projects and tangible achievements that add more momentum and brilliance to the relations between the two countries.
Regarding the situation in Libya, the great importance of the tripartite mechanism of neighboring countries, which is holding a new session in Tunis, was noted. This mechanism aims to discuss the most appropriate ways to provide support and assistance to the Libyan people, enabling them to overcome their crisis, reunite, and preserve their country’s sovereignty, unity, and independence.
