Stellantis Algeria Signs Partnership Agreement with Vocational Training Center

Stellantis Algeria has signed a partnership agreement with the Vocational Training and Apprenticeship Center in Staoueli, Algiers, aimed at enhancing youth skills and qualifying them for employment in the automotive sector.

According to a company statement, this agreement, signed on the occasion of the opening of the February vocational training session, seeks to sustainably link vocational training with the actual needs of the automotive industry. This will be achieved by placing the expertise of Stellantis’ training department at the disposal of technical instructors and pedagogical officials, as well as enriching the educational content and tools used at the center. The agreement also includes the possibility of hosting trainees for internships within the Stellantis after-sales service network.

The terms of the agreement also stipulate supporting the center in developing the “Mechatronics” specialty (mechanical-electronic systems engineering) to facilitate access to this technical field in western Algiers. Additionally, it provides for field internships for trainees within the group’s after-sales service network based on available opportunities.

To strengthen the practical training of students, Stellantis Algeria provided the center with four engines and four gearboxes of the latest generations. This initiative aims to modernize pedagogical tools and enable trainees to perform practical exercises on advanced mechanical equipment that aligns with current technology in the automotive market.
