Minister of Irrigation Taha Derbal arrived in In Salah province on Thursday to signal the start of the water desalination (demineralization) plant project in the province.
According to a ministry statement, this project aims to strengthen the supply of drinking water to the residents of Tamanrasset province, starting from the major In Salah–Tamanrasset water transfer project, which will improve public water services and support the development process in the region.
