The Ministry of Education announced on Tuesday the suspension of classes at all educational levels on Wednesday and Thursday, January 28 and 29, in several provinces across the country.
The Ministry explained that, following an urgent telegram from the Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport regarding a special weather bulletin warning of strong winds reaching 120 km/h, classes have been suspended in the following provinces: Oran, Tlemcen, Aïn Témouchent, Mostaganem, Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Mascara, Relizane, Naâma, El Bayadh, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdès, Tizi Ouzou, Béjaïa, Aïn Defla, Blida, Médéa, Bouira, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Sétif, Mila, Guelma, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Tébessa, Biskra, M’Sila, Djelfa, Laghouat, Ouled Djellal, Souk Ahras, Batna, and Constantine.
