Suspension of classes at vocational training and education institutions

The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education announced the suspension of classes in all training institutions on Wednesday and Thursday, January 28 and 29, 2026.

According to a ministry statement, this decision follows directives from competent authorities after a special weather bulletin warned of severe weather fluctuations.

The statement noted that these fluctuations are expected from Tuesday, January 27, 2026, until Thursday, January 29, 2026, affecting several provinces across the country, including Oran, Tlemcen, Aïn Témouchent, Mostaganem, Sidi Bel Abbès, Saïda, Tiaret, Tissemsilt, Mascara, Relizane, Naâma, El Bayadh, Chlef, Tipaza, Algiers, Boumerdès, Tizi Ouzou, Béjaïa, Aïn Defla, Blida, Médéa, Bouira, Jijel, Skikda, Annaba, El Tarf, Bordj Bou Arréridj, Sétif, Mila, Guelma, Oum El Bouaghi, Khenchela, Tébessa, Biskra, M’Sila, Djelfa, Laghouat, Ouled Djellal, Souk Ahras, Batna, Constantine, Barika, Aflou, El Abiodh Sidi Cheikh, Ksar Chellala, Bou Saâda, Aïn Oussera, Messaad, Bir el-Ater, El Kantara, El Aricha, and Ksar El Boukhari.

This decision comes as part of preventive measures taken to ensure the safety of trainees and employees.
