Iran targeted US bases in several Gulf countries on Saturday with a missile attack, in response to the US-Israeli attack on the capital, Tehran, earlier this morning.
The Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates was hit by Iranian ballistic missiles, in addition to the US Fifth Fleet’s service center in Bahrain.
Kuwaiti Civil Aviation announced the temporary closure of Kuwaiti airspace to aircraft and passenger traffic.
A massive explosion was heard in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.
The Qatari Ministry of Interior called for staying away from the vicinity of military sites and urged residents to remain indoors and not go out unless necessary.
Explosions were also heard in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
