The Algerian Embassy in Qatar has issued a clarifying statement regarding the suspension of consular services due to the escalation in the Middle East.
The embassy explained in its statement that although in-person consular services are suspended following instructions from Qatari authorities—similar to all embassies in the diplomatic complex—communication channels with the embassy’s consular services remain open.
The embassy also confirmed that all concerns raised are being addressed promptly by the embassy staff.
It is noted that the Algerian Embassy in Doha announced yesterday the suspension of all consular services starting today until further notice, given the current security situation in the Middle East.
The embassy added that the resumption of these services will depend on the improvement of the situation and the issuance of new instructions from the relevant authorities.
