The National Meteorological Office has reported thunderstorms in several provinces this Saturday.
A special bulletin from the office warned of locally significant thunderstorms with amounts reaching 30 mm, accompanied by hail, starting from 6:00 PM today and continuing until noon tomorrow, Sunday. The alert concerns the provinces of Tipaza, Ain Defla, Medea, Blida, Algiers, and Boumerdes.
Another alert warned of locally significant thunderstorms starting from 9:00 PM today, continuing until dawn tomorrow, Sunday. This alert includes the provinces of Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Chlef, Tissemsilt, Relizane, Mascara, Sidi Bel Abbes, Saida, Tiaret, Laghouat, El Bayadh, Djelfa, and M’Sila.
