President Tebboune Receives Condolences from Several World Leaders

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has received messages of condolence from various heads of state and world leaders following the passing of former President Liamine Zéroual.

President Tebboune received a message of condolence and sympathy from King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, following the death of the former president. The King prayed for the deceased’s soul to rest in peace and for the Algerian people to find patience and solace.

The President also received a message of condolence from Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who expressed his sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and the Algerian people.

The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, extended his condolences to President Tebboune, expressing his heartfelt sympathy to the family of the late president and the Algerian people during this difficult time.

Furthermore, President Tebboune received a message from Mauritanian President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, who expressed his sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the President and the Algerian people, praying for the deceased to be granted mercy and peace.

The President of Burundi, Évariste Ndayishimiye, also sent his condolences to President Tebboune, expressing his sincere sympathy to the family of the deceased and the Algerian people for this significant loss.

Additionally, President Tebboune received a message from Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. On behalf of himself and the Palestinian people, President Abbas expressed deep sadness and praised the late president’s firm positions in support of the Palestinian people and their just cause, affirming that his memory will remain alive in the hearts of Palestinians.
