The Minister of Foreign Affairs, National Community Abroad, and African Affairs, Ahmed Attaf, was received this morning in Zagreb by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković.
During the meeting, the Croatian Prime Minister asked the Minister of State to convey his deepest condolences and sympathy to the President of the Republic and the Algerian people following the passing of former President Liamine Zéroual.
For his part, Minister Ahmed Attaf expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Croatian Prime Minister for the solidarity shown toward Algeria. He also conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic and his commitment to joint action to instill a new dynamic into bilateral relations and strengthen them to serve the interests of both countries.
The meeting served as an opportunity to review various areas of cooperation between Algeria and Croatia and to explore ways to elevate them to the highest possible levels, especially in light of ongoing preparations for high-level bilateral meetings between the leaderships of the two nations.
