On Thursday, the third ship carrying imported sheep intended for Eid sacrifices docked at the Port of Oran. According to the institution, the ship ANAKIN, arriving from Spain, is carrying 7,000 head of sheep.
The same authorities confirmed that the ALVIAR/ORVO institution has mobilized all human and logistical resources to unload the shipment under optimal conditions. These sheep will be quarantined at the quarantine and collection center belonging to the ORVO institution in Oran.
The same authorities also explained that the unloading of the shipment is being carried out under the supervision of veterinary services and the institution’s veterinarians.
