A statement from the Civil Protection services confirmed that the final death toll from a traffic accident on National Road No. 1 in Laghouat province has reached six. The victims were transported to the local hospital morgue, while one other person was injured.
According to the report, Civil Protection units intervened at 4:35 PM following an incident where a car veered off the road and overturned before colliding with a passenger bus. The accident occurred on National Road No. 1 in the municipality and district of Hassi R’Mel.
