Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmed Attaf held bilateral talks Friday in Antalya, Turkey, with Massad Boulos, Senior Adviser to the US President for Africa, Arab Affairs, and the Middle East, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The meeting, exclusively confirmed to dzwatch, provided an opportunity to review the positive momentum in Algerian-American relations, including the high-level strategic dialogue between the two countries and the promising horizons of their growing economic partnership.
Both sides also exchanged views on key regional issues, particularly developments in Libya, Sudan, and the latest updates regarding the Western Sahara question — a cause Algeria continues to champion in support of the Saharawi people’s right to self-determination.
