President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Sunday praised the Minister of Culture and Arts for her outstanding efforts in ensuring the success of Pope Leo XIV’s historic visit to the wilaya of Annaba.
The commendation came during a Council of Ministers meeting chaired by the President, who opened the session by personally congratulating the minister on her dedication and hard work.
“The President of the Republic opened the Council of Ministers meeting by congratulating the Minister of Culture and Arts for her efforts made to ensure the success of Pope Leo’s visit to the wilaya of Annaba,” a statement from the Council told dzwatch.
The papal visit was widely regarded as a milestone moment reflecting Algeria’s deep commitment to interfaith dialogue, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
