Algeria’s international channel AL24NEWS has been crowned with the Best Television Reportage Award on Migration by the African Broadcasting Union during its 17th General Assembly held in Banjul, Gambia.
The award-winning reportage, titled ‘Algeria: A Leading Academic Destination for African Students’, highlighted Algeria’s growing role as an educational hub attracting students from across the African continent, showcasing its commitment to academic development and pan-African cooperation in higher education.
The National Communication, Publishing and Advertising Corporation told dzwatch that this achievement reflects the outstanding professional standards of AL24NEWS journalists and their dedication to covering issues vital to Africa.
The recognition further cements Algeria’s pivotal role in strengthening cooperation and solidarity among African nations, reinforcing Algerian media’s rising influence on the continental and international stage.
