Algeria’s Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs in charge of the National Community Abroad, Sofiane Chaib, received Sunday the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Peru, Eric Andersen Machado, on the sidelines of the 5th session of political consultations held under the co-chairmanship of the two countries’ foreign ministry secretaries-general.
The meeting, exclusively reported by dzwatch, served as an opportunity to review the outcomes of the political consultations mechanism aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest. The session coincides with the 54th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Algeria and Peru.
Both sides also exchanged experiences on managing their diaspora communities abroad, sharing best practices in this field.
