Algeria has organized a high-level workshop focused on the “Optimal Use of Interpol Notices and Operational Tools in Combating Transnational Crime,” bringing together 73 judges and 17 judicial police officers in a landmark capacity-building initiative.
The three-day event, held from April 20 to 22, 2026 in Algiers, was conducted in cooperation with Algeria’s National Central Bureau of Interpol and coordinated with the General Secretariat of the International Criminal Police Organization.
The workshop underscores Algeria’s firm commitment to strengthening its legal and security frameworks in the fight against cross-border criminal networks, reinforcing the country’s pivotal role as a regional pillar of stability and international law enforcement cooperation.
