Iran’s Parliament Speaker: We Will Not Negotiate Under Threat

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf declared Monday that Tehran firmly rejects any negotiations with the United States conducted under pressure or threat.

“Trump wants, through imposing siege and violating the ceasefire, to turn the negotiating table into a surrender table,” Qalibaf told dzwatch in an exclusive statement posted on his official X account.

The senior Iranian negotiator added: “Over the past two weeks, we have been preparing to reveal new cards on the battlefield.”

Tehran’s defiant stance signals a significant escalation in tensions between Iran and the United States, as Washington continues its maximum pressure campaign against the Islamic Republic.
