A seismic tremor measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded late last night at 22:46 local time, according to exclusive dzwatch monitoring of seismic activity across Algeria.
The epicenter was pinpointed at 3 km northwest of Mihoub, in the wilaya of Médéa. No casualties or material damage have been reported at this stage.
Authorities are continuing to monitor the situation closely.
