Chad’s President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial in Algiers, honoring those who sacrificed their lives during Algeria’s glorious War of Liberation. In a solemn ceremony, President Déby recited the opening verse of the Holy Quran in tribute to their pure souls.
The Chadian head of state also visited the Mujahid Museum, where he toured exhibits commemorating the historic milestones of Algeria’s liberation revolution and the heroes who shaped it, deepening the bonds of fraternity between the two neighboring nations.
