The Director-General of the “Adil” Agency, Fouad Mekrani, issued strict instructions to central and regional managers on Monday, in preparation for the upcoming major distribution operation at the anticipated historical sites.

According to a statement from the “Adil” Agency, Mekrani urged regional managers to intensify surprise field visits, especially at night, to ensure the smooth operation of the 3*8 rotation system mandated by the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning during his field visits to various projects. He emphasized that incomplete housing units lacking primary and secondary networks, especially fiber optic networks, would not be accepted for handover.

Mekrani also instructed “Adil” agency managers to conduct periodic inspections by specialized committees at construction sites to ensure the quality and standard of housing construction according to established criteria.

Furthermore, Mekrani ordered strict measures against negligent companies that fail to complete internal and external infrastructure works on time.

The Director-General of the “Adil” Agency also instructed regional managers to initiate the sale of shops in housing units nearing completion to provide all life necessities in “Adil” neighborhoods.

He urged construction entities to accelerate the pace of work, avoid delays, and adhere to contractual deadlines for housing delivery.

During the meeting, the Director-General urged regional managers to address reservations and overcome obstacles hindering progress, emphasizing the importance of finding practical and immediate solutions and anticipating any technical crises that may impede construction work. He stressed the necessity of coordinating with various stakeholders (SONELGAZ, Algerian Telecommunications, Algerian Water Company, Directorates of Urban Planning and Architecture, project managers of the “Adil” agency, consulting firms, and the National Technical Building Control Authority, etc.).

regional managers, project managers, and construction companies were urged to coordinate and work together under a unified plan to accelerate the pace of work.

The meeting between the Director-General and regional managers aims to closely monitor “Adil” projects to avoid delays in external infrastructure works, especially in the ready-to-be-distributed housing units at upcoming historical sites.
