The President of Algeria’s Supreme Islamic Council, Mabrouk Zid Al-Khair, participated in the annual reception hosted by Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, on behalf of King Salman, marking the 2026 Hajj season at the Mina holy site.
Speaking exclusively to dzwatch, Al-Khair — attending as a member of the Islamic Fiqh Academy — delivered the Muslim World League address before world leaders and senior Islamic scholars, highlighting the profound spiritual significance of the occasion and Islam’s message of moderation, compassion, and unity.
He also praised the exceptional care provided to pilgrims, praying for Allah to accept the worship of all Hajj attendees and to unite the Islamic nation in goodness, solidarity, and peace.
