Thunderstorms Expected in Eastern Algerian Provinces This Sunday

Algeria's National Meteorological Services have issued a forecast predicting thunderstorms for several eastern provinces this Sunday. Residents in these regions should anticipate changeable weather conditions.

According to the meteorological bulletin, northern areas of the country are expected to enjoy sunny weather throughout the day. However, inland regions will experience afternoon thunderstorms, indicating a shift in atmospheric conditions as the day progresses.

Temperatures across coastal areas are forecast to range between 25 and 37 degrees Celsius. For inland provinces, temperatures will hover between 26 and 36 degrees Celsius. Wind speeds are expected to reach up to 30 kilometers per hour, potentially affecting visibility and outdoor activities.

The provinces specifically highlighted for potential thunderstorms include Oum El Bouaghi, Souk Ahras, Tébessa, and Khenchela. Meanwhile, the southern regions of Algeria are projected to have clear, sunny skies on Sunday.
