DZWatch has learned that Algerian pilgrims demonstrated exceptional conduct and represented their nation with distinction during the 2026 Hajj season. Dr. Youssef Belmehdi, Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments and head of the Algerian Hajj Affairs Office, praised the pilgrims as "the best ambassadors for their country."
