Algerian pilgrims have successfully concluded their sacred Hajj rituals today, Saturday, marking the culmination of the Tashreeq days in Mina, Saudi Arabia. The immense pilgrimage proceeded under robust organizational measures, ensuring the well-being and smooth progression of all participants.
Algerian Hajj completion
Following the conclusion of the Tashreeq days and the ritual stoning of the Jamarat, pilgrims are now undertaking the Tawaf Al-Ifadha and Tawaf Al-Wada (Farewell Circumambulation) as they prepare for their departure from the Holy City of Mecca. Algerian pilgrims performed their rites in exemplary conditions, largely attributed to the meticulous organizational procedures and comprehensive services provided to them.
A significant portion of the Algerian contingent, including pilgrims and their companions, chose to avail themselves of the legitimate Islamic concession for early departure (Ta'ajjal). This allowed them to leave Mina after completing the stoning of the Jamarat on the second day of Tashreeq, a decision often made to accommodate health conditions or to alleviate the rigors of extended stay and travel.
Preparations are now in full swing for the pilgrims' return journey to Algeria. Phased repatriation operations are scheduled to commence tomorrow, Sunday, and will continue until June 21st, meticulously following designated flight schedules.
This season saw over 41,000 Algerian pilgrims, both men and women, participate in the Hajj. Their accommodation arrangements in Mecca were managed across 55 hotels, a logistical feat orchestrated by the National Office of Hajj and Umrah in collaboration with 50 specialized tourism agencies.
