Algerian Army Chief General Chengriha Arrives in Oman for Official Military Cooperation Talks

General Saïd Chengriha, Chief of Staff of the Algerian People's National Army, arrived in Muscat on Sunday evening for an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman. The visit, extended by a delegation accompanying the General, aims to bolster bilateral military cooperation.

Upon his arrival at Al-Seeb Air Base, General Chengriha was warmly received by Vice Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis bin Abdullah Al-Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan's Armed Forces, and Algeria's Ambassador to Oman, Ali Bougazi. The meeting underscored the strong diplomatic ties between the two nations.

Discussions were held in the VIP lounge of the airbase, attended by the Algerian Ambassador, senior officials from both the Algerian and Omani delegations, and staff from the Algerian Embassy in Oman. These high-level talks are expected to pave the way for enhanced military collaboration.

During this significant visit, General Chengriha is scheduled to meet with various Omani officials. The primary objective of these engagements will be to explore avenues for strengthening the bonds of bilateral military cooperation, reflecting Algeria's commitment to regional stability and strategic partnerships.
