Algiers – The Ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders is set to showcase a documentary film about the life and journey of the emblematic figure “Ibrahim Aq Abkdah,” a leader of the popular resistance and mujahid in the National Liberation Revolution. The documentary, titled “Aq Abkdah.. The Sun of Azjer,” will be screened next Monday at the Ibn Zeydoun hall of the Riad El Feth complex in Algiers, starting at 5 PM, according to a statement from the ministry.
This significant documentary work by the Ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders is part of a series of audio-visual productions documenting our national memory and the march of our illustrious symbols.
“Aq Abkdah.. The Sun of Azjer” is the first documentary to highlight this unique figure in Algerian history, “Leader Ibrahim,” as a leader of the popular resistance and a mujahid in the liberation revolution.
The screening is scheduled under the supervision of the Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Mr. El Aid Rabieqa, and will be attended by a gathering of dignitaries from the Tassili Azjer regions of Illizi and Jannet.
