Algeria's Minister of Interior, Local Communities, and Urban Planning, Said Sayoud, held high-level discussions with his French counterpart, Laurent Nuñez, at the French Ministry of Interior headquarters in Paris. This crucial meeting underscores the ongoing bilateral cooperation between Algeria and France.

Prior to his meeting at the ministry, Minister Sayoud visited the Algerian Embassy in France, where he was greeted by the Chargé d'Affaires and other senior diplomatic staff. The visit comes as a reciprocal engagement, following Nuñez's earlier visit to Algeria on February 16 and 17, 2026, with both parties now set to advance the established program of work, further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations.
