Algeria's Ministry of National Education has announced enhanced organizational measures for the upcoming 2026 Baccalauréat examinations, aiming to streamline operations and ensure a conducive environment for candidates. The new directives, detailed in a statement released on Monday, include advanced opening times for examination centers across the nation.
Algeria Baccalauréat 2026 organizational improvements
In a bid to facilitate a smoother flow of candidates and improve logistical efficiency, examination centers will now open their doors at 7:15 AM, a fifteen-minute earlier start than previous years, with access permitted until 8:00 AM. For afternoon sessions, centers will open at 1:45 PM, rather than 2:00 PM, allowing entry until 2:30 PM. The Ministry emphasized that these schedule adjustments pertain solely to the opening of centers and do not alter the official examination timetable.
Reinforcing the integrity of the examination process, the Ministry reiterated the strict policy requiring candidates to surrender mobile phones and all electronic communication or data storage devices upon arrival. This measure is crucial for preventing infringements of regulations and safeguarding candidates from sanctions related to the unauthorized use of electronic equipment within examination premises.
The Ministry further urged all candidates to exhibit discipline and adhere strictly to the organizational protocols. By fostering an atmosphere of serenity, transparency, and equal opportunity, these measures are designed to create the optimal conditions for candidates to successfully complete their examinations, underscoring the nation's commitment to educational excellence.
