Algeria’s National Social Security Fund for Non-Employees (CASNOS) has issued an urgent warning to all its beneficiaries regarding the rise of fraudulent websites. These unauthorized online platforms are reportedly impersonating the state institution and offering fake services under its name.
Algeria CASNOS warning
In an official statement, CASNOS urged citizens and self-employed workers to exercise extreme caution and verify the authenticity of any digital portal before interacting with it. The institution emphasized the critical importance of protecting sensitive data, advising users never to share personal, financial, or confidential information on any platform outside of the official CASNOS digital ecosystem.
To prevent identity theft and phishing scams, the fund highlighted that official services are strictly rendered through its authorized governmental channels. CASNOS has called on any citizens in doubt to immediately contact its offices through established public communication networks to verify the legitimacy of online services.
