A severe weather warning indicates that heavy thunderstorms are anticipated to begin around 3:00 PM local time on Tuesday and are projected to continue until the early hours of Wednesday morning. The affected provinces include Tlemcen, Ain Temouchent, Oran, Mostaganem, Sidi Bel Abbes, Mascara, Relizane, Naama, El Bayadh, Tiaret, Saida, Tissemsilt, Laghouat, Djelfa, M'Sila, Ouled Djellal, Oum El Bouaghi, Souk Ahras, Tebessa, Khenchela, and Tamanrasset.
Additionally, a second alert highlights expected strong winds and significant sandstorms in the provinces of Bechar, Beni Abbes, and Tindouf. These conditions are forecast to commence around midday Tuesday and persist until 7:00 PM.
