Algerian Gendarmerie Seize Over 22,000 Psychotropic Pills in Ghardaia

The National Gendarmerie in Ghardaia has successfully apprehended an individual and seized more than 22,000 psychotropic pills. The suspect was stopped while traveling with his family, including his wife and two children. The illicit drugs were discovered ingeniously hidden beneath the vehicle's engine cover and within the rear bumper.

The individual and his family were taken to the Gendarmerie's Investigation and Research Unit in Ghardaia to facilitate further inquiries into the matter. Authorities are continuing their investigation.
