Iranian state television has announced the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and their accompanying delegation after their helicopter was found following a “crash” in a rugged mountainous area in East Azerbaijan province.
According to the Iranian news agency, the government council is currently holding an urgent meeting following the deaths of President Ebrahim Raisi and the Foreign Minister.
