SOGRAL Extends Digital Ticketing to 64 Bus Stations

The National Company for the Management of Bus Stations (SOGRAL) has announced an intensification of passenger transport services across various wilayas, alongside significant enhancements to its digital offerings. These measures are part of a series of initiatives aimed at ensuring a successful social return and are in line with instructions from the Minister of Interior, Local Communities and Transport, Said Saayoud, to improve the reception conditions for citizens and travelers nationwide.
A key focus of these improvements is the expanded use of digital tools. Digital booking is now available at 64 bus stations, allowing citizens to view travel schedules and purchase tickets remotely online. Additionally, 133 electronic payment devices (TPE) have been integrated across various stations, and the number of electronic ticket sales counters has been doubled. The official launch of a round-trip ticket service further enables travelers to purchase return tickets from their departure stations or acquire tickets for relatives remotely. These digital advancements complement improved service quality following the deployment of new imported buses, a decision made by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune.
Beyond digital solutions, SOGRAL has also enhanced physical services and infrastructure. The company has increased its operational, commercial, security, and prevention staff to improve reception and guidance within stations. The number of luggage storage offices has been expanded, contributing to smoother movement for citizens. Furthermore, commercial corridors and external areas of bus stations have been opened to traders and artisans, providing access to school supplies, clothing, and other essential needs. Dedicated reading areas have been established for passengers awaiting their journeys, and specific platforms and stopping zones have been allocated for university transport buses to ensure safe and comfortable travel for students. These comprehensive efforts underscore SOGRAL's ongoing commitment to enhancing service quality and ensuring bus stations meet the needs of citizens for suitable travel and reception conditions.
