Historic El Sat Tourist Complex Reopens in Tipaza, Boosting Algerian Tourism
The historic 'El Sat' tourist complex in Tipaza, a cornerstone of Algeria's tourism infrastructure, has reopened its doors following comprehensive renovation and modernization efforts carried out between 2021 and 2022. Established in 1969 and inaugurated by the late President Houari Boumediene, the complex is renowned for its distinguished history, having previously hosted international figures such as Queen Elizabeth II. Designed with unique architecture by global engineer Fernando Pouillon, the revitalized complex now seamlessly merges its esteemed legacy with contemporary amenities and a commitment to high service standards.
Guests visiting 'El Sat' can anticipate a fully immersive and luxurious experience. The complex offers a variety of accommodation options, including fully equipped apartments and residences of different sizes (F1, F2, F3, F4) that provide direct beach views, catering effectively to both large families and individual visitors. On-site facilities are extensive, ensuring guests have every need met without leaving the complex, featuring a private beach, lush green spaces, a retail shop, multiple swimming pools—including a distinctive guitar-shaped pool with a 150-person capacity and dedicated sections for adults and children—and diverse play areas.
