Sonatrach is participating with a high-level delegation in the “Baku Energy Week 2024” event, held in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, from June 4 to 6, 2024.
According to a statement from Sonatrach, the forum is one of the most prominent annual events in the energy industry, serving as a platform that brings together top executives from energy companies and government agencies, along with experts and innovators in technological solutions.
Participants in this forum will address several topics, primarily focusing on energy transition, climate change, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and financing oil and gas projects to meet the growing global demand for energy. Additionally, discussions will cover cybersecurity and green energy.
The delegation, led by Sonatrach’s Secretary General Abdelkader Zerouki, is taking advantage of this event to meet with representatives from global energy companies to explore partnership and cooperation opportunities and to exchange views on the latest developments in the energy industry.
